A wreck on Eagle Way near Pennyrile Parkway sent a Hopkinsville man to the hospital Saturday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say 24-year-old Jalonte Daniels was westbound on Eagle Way when he attempted to make a U-turn and hit 21-year-old Jack Scyphers of Cadiz that was also westbound on Eagle Way.
The crash caused Daniels vehicle to spin and hit an SUV driven by 50-year-old Florine Wilford of Cadiz.
Witnesses reportedly told police Daniels was swerving in and out of traffic and two males ran from his vehicle after the crash one with a handgun.
A female in Scypher’s vehicle also left before the police arrived. Daniels was taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for injuries from the crash.
