Canton Baptist Church will be giving back to the community Sunday afternoon.
Pastor Brad Chalfin tells the News Edge they will be giving away 100 food baskets between the hours of 2:00 and 4:00.
Chalfin says his church understands many people are going through hard times.
He adds they have helped many local businesses while coming up with this way to minister to the community.
The boxes will be handed out to anyone in need, as there are no requirements to receive one. The event will take place rain-or-shine at the church located at 423 Boyds Landing Road in Canton.
