A gun was reportedly taken out of a vehicle on Michele Court in Hopkinsville Friday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say someone broke into a vehicle and took a pistol worth $225 from the vehicle.
The owner found the vehicle had been broken into after someone found his wallet in the area Friday morning.
No arrest has been made and the gun has not been located.
