A Hopkinsville woman was charged with wanton endangerment after police say she left her child in a car at Walmart on Clinic Drive Wednesday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say 24-year-old Krista Bucello left her 5-year-old child in the car with their dog for an hour as she and her husband went shopping.
Police reportedly paged Bucello on Walmart’s intercom several times before she returned to the car.
Bucello was arrested and charged with second-degree wanton endangerment and improper registration. Her husband fled the store before police could locate him.
