Applications are now being accepted for the 2020-2021 Leadership Hopkinsville-Christian County class.
According to Leadership Hopkinsville-Christian County Chair Lee Martin, the program seeks to identify and cultivate the leadership potential within the local community. The program brings together individuals with diverse backgrounds and experiences, who have a demonstrated talent and commitment for leadership, and who are interested in helping direct the future of Hopkinsville and Christian County.
Admission is limited to 20 participants and all applicants must live or work in Christian County and be able and willing to commit to all the program requirements. Martin says applicants must have the full support of their organization or business they represent in order to commit the time and effort required by the program.
The fee for the Leadership Program is $550 for Chamber members and $600 for non-members. The fee covers all meals, lodging, and instructional materials used throughout the course. Officials note a limited number of partial scholarships may be available for hardship situations.
An electronic application can be completed online at www.leadershiphopkinsville.com. The application deadline is Monday, June 1.
