Caldwell’s COVID-19 Cases Grow

Caldwell County is reporting yet another positive case of coronavirus (COVID-19).

Judge/Executive Larry Curling reported Sunday morning that the Pennyrile District Health Department confirmed the case was a 64-year-old female who is self-quarantined at home. He added that the new case brings Caldwell’s total cases to eleven, one of which includes another 64-year-old female who confirmed positive on Thursday.

Currently two of the county’s eleven are hospitalized with the virus, the remaining nine are in self-quarantine in their homes.

Judge Curling again expressed his thoughts and prayers for those fighting the virus and their families and wished for a quick recovery. He is urging the community to continue to adhere to social distancing mandates by staying “healthy at home” and keeping at least six feet between themselves and others when they must venture out in public.
