A trial date has been scheduled for a Hopkinsville woman charged in connection to a fatal shooting on Greenville Road last year.
Anshanique Leavell appeared via video conference for a pretrial conference in Christian Circuit Court Wednesday morning and Judge John Atkins set her trial date for September 21.
Leavell is accused of shooting Amareyá Freeman at an apartment complex on Greenville Road on June 6, 2019.
She remains lodged in the Christian County Jail charged with murder and receiving stolen property (firearm).
