Pembroke Man Charged With DUI After Elkton Wreck

A Pembroke man was charged after he allegedly caused two wrecks in Todd County Friday afternoon.

Elkton Police say 31-year-old Matthew Davidson was westbound on US 68 in Elkton when he sideswiped a vehicle driven by 62-year-old James Killen of Franklin and fled the scene.

Davidson was reportedly driving recklessly and in and out of the median when he fled the crash.

Police located Davidson after he had ran off the road causing his truck to overturn five times ejecting him several miles from where the original accident occurred.

Davidson was taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries. Alcohol is believed to have been a factor in the crash.

He is charged with DUI third-offense, reckless driving, and leaving the scene of an accident. Killen was not injured in the wreck.
