Oak Grove Police Pursuit Ends With Arrest In Hopkinsville

Police have released the name of a man that fled from Oak Grove Police Thursday morning.

Oak Grove Police say they attempted to stop a car driven by 55-year-old William Gray for speeding on Fort Campbell Boulevard and he fled at speeds of 85 mph towards Hopkinsville.

Hopkinsville Police and the Christian County Sheriff’s Office joined the pursuit and used spike strips on Walnut Street in Hopkinsville.

The vehicle came to a stop on West 9th Street just before the intersection of West 7th Street and Gray was arrested.

He is charged with first-degree fleeing or evading police, reckless driving, speeding and two counts of receiving stolen property. The car he was driving had been reported stolen out of Clarksville.
