The 70th Hopkinsville Rotary Club Auction has been postponed due to COVID-19 concerns.
Rotary Auction Chairman Scott Cowan tells the News Edge the auction will be rescheduled from the third week of April to September 14-19. He adds hosting the auction on a normal schedule would have been impossible and insensitive to the merchants, guests, and donors.
Cowan says the reason for the auction date in mid-September comes after looking at the schedule of events for the War Memorial Building.

The club will stop all of their solicitation efforts until the end of the summer, with Cowan adding they will push all other normal activities back about four months.
