HCC Temporarily Changing All Courses To Online Instruction

Hopkinsville Community College will move all of their courses to online instruction beginning next week as a precautionary measure during the COVID-19 outbreak.

The college reports changes are still evolving but they will move all courses online from Monday, March 16 to Sunday, April 12. They add that all campuses will remain open during the period offering business and student support services while practicing social distancing.

All special events scheduled on campus are canceled during this period of time and limited computer lab access will be available. The Rotary Club of Hopkinsville Learning Resource Center, Tutoring Center, Barnes and Noble Bookstore, and the testing center will be open regular hours, but social distancing will be utilized.

College President Dr. Alissa Young says they plan to resume all normal class delivery methods on Monday, April 13. She adds they will continue to monitor the situation and make a determination about the rest of the semester by April 10.
