Governor Beshear Recommends Closures Of Senior Centers

Governor Andy Beshear announced Friday morning the state is taking aggressive action to protect senior citizens during the COVID-19 outbreak.

Beshear says experts are now recommending social distancing for everybody.

 

Beshear adds his latest recommendation involves temporary closures of all senior centers across the Commonwealth. In addition, the centers will continue the delivery of meals.

 

During the morning update, Beshear confirmed there are now 11 cases of coronavirus in Kentucky.
