Hopkinsville Man Charged With Possession Of Meth

A Hopkinsville man was charged with possession of meth after deputies went to a Butler Road home in reference to a warrant Thursday afternoon.

Christian County Sheriff’s Deputies say they went to the home on Butler Road in reference to serving a warrant on an unrelated person and while at the home 52-year-old Arthur Sivels was seen by deputies walking through a garage.

Sivels reportedly tossed a coin pouch behind a table and after getting consent from the homeowner, deputies found the pouch that contained four grams of meth.

He was arrested and charged with possession of meth and tampering with physical evidence.
