A Hopkinsville woman was taken to the hospital after a rollover crash on South Virginia Street in the area of East 16th Street Thursday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say 32-year-old Brian Higgins of Cadiz was northbound in the right lane on South Virginia Street when he attempted to turn into a parking lot on the left side of the road.
Higgins truck hit a northbound car driven by 36-year-old Rasmiben Parmar that was in the left lane on South Virginia Street.
The crash caused Parmar’s car to overturn coming to a rest on the driver’s side of the vehicle.
Parmar was given first aid at the scene and taken by a friend to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries.
