Hopkinsville Couple Charged With Stealing Guns

A Hopkinsville man and woman were charged Thursday morning with theft after they reportedly took guns out of a Hopkinsville home.

Hopkinsville Police say 43-year-old Sean Faught and 33-year-old Emeral Forgette took six guns from a Hopkinsville home and attempted to trade one of them.

Police reportedly found photos of the stolen guns on Faught’s phone. He admitted to police the guns had been at his home but said they have been left by another person.

Forgette reportedly had been in the victim’s home and set up the theft. They are both charged with six counts of theft of a firearm.

Faught was already in jail on charges of trafficking meth, tampering with physical evidence and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon. Forgette was also charged with probation violation on burglary charges.
