HOPFAME Continuing to Provide Career Paths for Students

Great things are always happening at Hopkinsville Community College, including their HOPFAME Program that is continuing to educate students in applied science.

President Dr. Alissa Young spoke during Thursday’s Kiwanis meeting about the program and how it combines real-world and classroom education.

She says it is a great opportunity for students to begin their career pathway.

Dr. Young adds the two-year program allows students to graduate with the possibility of immediately having a full-time job.

She says students can apply by visiting the college’s website.

The program allows students to graduate with an Applied Science degree, over 2,000 hours of on-the-job training and experience, as well as the potential for no student debt.
