Todd Schools Moving Forward Following Superintendent Resignation

Todd County Schools are searching for a new Superintendent after the abrupt resignation of Edwin Oyler last week, after serving in the position for about two years.

Todd County Standard Publisher Ryan Craig tells the News Edge Oyler’s resignation comes after some issues with school board members.

 

Craig adds the majority of questions involved how the Advanced Manufacturing Technology Center located on the campus of Todd County Central High School was funded.

 

He notes they will continue investigating the incident.

 

The school board will begin moving forward next week in finding a replacement for Oyler.

According to a post on social media, Bullitt County Public Schools hired Oyler as the Director of Buildings and Grounds, he began the job Monday.

The latest edition of the Todd County Standard with more information concerning the resignation can be picked up through Saturday morning at various places throughout Todd County.
