AHA Raising Awareness For Heart Health Month

The American Heart Association is working to raise awareness for heart disease during the month of February, designated Heart Health Awareness Month.

Sitting is the new smoking, according to the American Heart Association. Division Director Suzanne Riley, the featured speaker of Thursday’s Kiwanis meeting, says they use a variety of factors when determining heart health, including activity level.
