A Tennessee man was charged after he reportedly stole a vehicle in Pembroke and fled from police Wednesday night.
Christian County Sheriff’s Deputies say 36-year-old Jose Euyoque took a vehicle from the Minit Mart in Pembroke and was found by Oak Grove Police getting onto Interstate 24 at exit 89.
Euyoque reportedly fled into Tennessee where he attempted to cross the median around exit 4 in Clarksville and the vehicle became stuck in the median.
Alcohol and a handgun were allegedly located in the vehicle.
He is charged with first-degree fleeing or evading police, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, theft of a motor vehicle, and operating on a suspended or revoked license.
Euyoque is currently being held in Tennessee.
