Pembroke Woman Charged With Abuse And Threatening An Officer

A Pembroke woman was arrested after a fight with her son in the area of Navaho Trail Thursday night.

Hopkinsville Police say 37-year-old Tiffany Morris physically assaulted her adult son while he was driving with her and her children in the vehicle.

Morris reportedly got out of the vehicle taking an infant in a car seat and a toddler then started walking down the road in the cold and snowy weather when officers arrived.

She was allegedly unsteady on her feet and under the influence of alcoholic beverages.

After being arrested she reportedly started screaming profanities and racial slurs while trying to spit on the officer and threatening to shoot him.

Morris allegedly licked the police cruiser cage and started hitting her head on the cage. She is charged with second-degree criminal abuse, third-degree terroristic threatening, and alcohol intoxication in a public place.
