A woman was injured in a crash blamed on an accelerator problem at the intersection of East 13th Street and South Virginia Street Thursday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say a van driven by 75-year-old Gary Gragg of Hopkinsville was eastbound on East 13th Street when he lost control causing the van to hit a stop sign then a northbound car on South Virginia Street driven by 26-year-old Charrity Boyd of Hope.
Gragg reportedly told police the accelerator was stuck causing the crash.
Boyd was taken by private vehicle to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries.
