A former Todd County Sheriff was flown to a Nashville hospital after being hit by a vehicle on Allegre Road in Todd County Monday morning.
Todd County Sheriff Tracy White said 73-year-old Keith Wells was at his home on Allegre Road talking with a man in the driveway when the man attempted to leave and accidentally hit Wells with his truck.
Wells was flown from the scene to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville for arm and shoulder injuries. White said the injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
