The Trigg County chapter of the National Wild Turkey Foundation is getting ready for its 25th annual Hunting Heritage Banquet.
Trigg County Longspurs Committee member Avery Harper tells the News Edge the banquet will be held on Saturday, February 1 at the Lake Barkley State Resort Park Convention Center.
Harper adds during the banquet they will recognize their local sports and clubs, veterans, and scholarship winner of the year.
She adds they do a lot of things in the community every year.
Harper says she has really enjoyed growing up through the program.
