A wreck on East 9th Street at the intersection of South Main Street sent four people to the hospital Friday morning.

Hopkinsville Police Officer Matt Overby said 30-year-old Wesley Houchens of Hopkinsville was southbound on South Main Street when his truck collided with a westbound car on East 9th Street driven by 51-year-old Tonya Dillard of Hopkinsville.

Both drivers reportedly told police they had the green light at the intersection. The crash caused the car to spin 180 degrees and the truck to hit two poles and a building.

Three passengers in Houchens truck 25-year-old Chelsea Naasz of Crofton, 17-year-old Candice Dossett of Hopkinsville and 2-year-old Zaylyn Bush of Crofton along with Dillard were taken to Jennie Stuart Medical Center by ambulance for head, chest and leg pain.
