2 Men From The Area Added To Beshear’s Team

A Hopkinsville man and a Princeton native are among individuals across the state that were tapped by Governor Andy Beshear to serve on his team and who share his vision of supporting public education, ensuring access to health care, protecting retirements and improving wages.

The governor and Lt. Governor Jacqueline Coleman announced Friday morning that Jeff Taylor of Hopkinsville will serve as the commissioner for Business Development at the Cabinet for Economic Development.

Taylor thanked Beshear for the opportunity to continue his profession and passion.

In addition, Beshear appointed Mike Hancock, a native of Princeton, to continue his service at the Transportation Cabinet in the role of deputy secretary.

Beshear also named the following individuals to his team:

– Mary Pat Regan of St. Matthews as deputy secretary of Education and Workforce Development
– Ronnie Bastin of Lexington as the Justice and Public Safety Cabinet deputy secretary
– Lindy Casebier of Louisville as deputy Personnel Cabinet secretary
– Rodney Brewer of Ballardsville as commissioner of Kentucky State Police
– Lisa Lee, a native of Hazard, as the Cabinet for Health and Family Services Commissioner for the Department of Medicaid Services
– Allyson Taylor of Frankfort as commissioner for the Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control
