Trigg Extension Kicking Off Busy Year With Several Programs

Trigg County Family and Consumer Science Agent Cecilia Hostilo says 2020 will be a busy year, with a lot of great classes occurring.

She notes they will kick off the year by preparing for a Cultural Arts Retreat next week.

Hostilo notes next Friday they will host an easy sewing class with winter fleece.

Another opportunity for the community is a small group that quilts every month.

She says you must have a sewing machine and be able to sew a straight line in order to participate in the class.

Angie York from the Lyon County Family and Consumer Science office will be in Trigg County in early February to teach how to make a snowball block quilt.

In addition, the homemaker clubs will focus on LED lighting in February.

Anyone interested in any of the classes the extension office has to offer can call (270) 522-3269 or stop by 2657 Hopkinsville Road in Cadiz.
