Applications Available At LBL For Seasonal Camping

Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area is now accepting applications for the 2020 Seasonal Camping program.

According to LBL officials, the application due dates for Wranglers, Cravens Bay, Taylor Bay, and Energy Lake Campgrounds is Friday, January 3rd. The application due date for Piney and Hillman Ferry Campgrounds is Friday, January 10th.

LBL officials say there are a total of 133 campsites in the seasonal camping program available for three to nine months at Hillman Ferry, Piney, Wranglers, and Energy Lake. They note Cravens Bay and Taylor Bay campgrounds have a total of 24, one to six-month sites available.

The selection process for seasonal sites is designed to allow for the maximum amount of participation in the program. Officials say all applicants must be present during the selection process, and payment is required in full upon site selection.

January 10:
at USFS Administration Office, 100 Van Morgan Drive, Golden Pond, KY 42211
– 9am – Wranglers Campground
– 10am – Energy Lake Campground
– 11am – Cravens Bay and Taylor Bay

January 18
– 9am – Piney Campground at the Stewart County Visitor Center, located at 117 Visitor Center Lane in Dover
– 1pm – Hillman Ferry Campground at KenLake State Resort Park Lodge, located at 542 Kenlake Road in Hardin
