The first candidate has filed in Christian County to run for a seat on Hopkinsville City Council.
According to the Christian County Clerk’s Office, Democrat Shannon Worden filed Thursday to run for the Ward 6 seat.
Worden ran against current Ward 6 councilman Wendell Lynch in the May 2018 primary election but was defeated.
