A second Hopkinsville man was arrested on a warrant for assault and burglary on Riverfront Drive Wednesday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say on October 14th 27-year-old Karl Bailey and 28-year-old Lewis Smith along with a third man entered a Hopkinsville home and attacked a man inside kicking, punching and stomping on the man.
During the assault, one of the suspects reportedly asked another suspect to get a gun from the car but all three men fled when the police were called to the home.
Police say there were several witnesses including children in the home.
Bailey was arrested Wednesday afternoon and Smith was arrested on November 26th, they are both charged with first-degree burglary and fourth-degree assault.
