Details Released In Crash That Injured Hopkinsville Woman

A Hopkinsville woman was injured in a wreck on South Main Street Wednesday night.

Hopkinsville Police say 31-year-old Dakota McBride of Hopkinsville was southbound on South Main Street when he says the sign at the intersection blocked his view of the traffic light and he hit a westbound car driven by 55-year-old Beverly Cunningham.

Cunningham was taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries.

Police say the traffic light can be seen 226 feet away which is ample time to react and stop if obeying all traffic laws.
