Trigg Country Ham Festival Expanding For Bicentennial

The Trigg County Country Ham Festival Committee will expand the 2020 festival to help celebrate the Trigg County Bicentennial.
Cadiz Mayor Todd King says the decision to return to a three-day format was made during Tuesday’s committee meeting.

King says there will be added excitement with a new stage at Renaissance Square that has been proposed by the 2019-20 Trigg County Leadership Program.

He adds there has been some talk of bringing back the parade, but no decision has been made about that.

King says the committee will get down to serious business planning to the 2020 Trigg County Country Ham Festival early next year.

Also during the meeting, WKDZ-WHVO-WPKY Operations Manager Bill Booth resigned from the entertainment planning committee.

The 2020 Trigg County Country Ham Festival will be held on October 9, 10 and 11.
