P’Pool Recognized At November Trigg School Board Meeting

School board members congratulated a Trigg County High School student Thursday night who recently placed among the finalists in the creed contest at the National FFA Competition.

Lily P’Pool, won fourth place in the competition and says she was among 300,000 FFA members who participated.

P’Pool adds it took a lot of hard work to become a finalist.

She notes the FFA Creed has truly changed her life.

The National FFA Creed Speaking Leadership Development Event is designed to recognize outstanding FFA members for their ability to present the creed in a competitive setting. Members deliver the creed from memory and answer questions about it. The event allows FFA members a chance to develop their ability to communicate in a powerful, organized and professional manner.

Other winners of the FFA Creed contest included:
1st-place: Isabella Albiana of California
2nd-place: Alex Kindig of Indiana
