A Hopkinsville man was reportedly found with drugs on West 7th Street Friday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say 39-year-old Tommy Byars was found crouched down digging in a bag around 2 a.m. near the intersection of West 7th Street and Westwood Drive.
Byars was reportedly found to be under the influence of a controlled substance and had an unknown drug on him along with drug paraphernalia.
He is charged with trafficking in a controlled substance, resisting arrest, and public intoxication.
