A Hopkinsville apartment building was damaged in a fire on East 18th Street Saturday night.Hopkinsville Fire Department Chief Steve Futrell said when firefighters arrived there was fire and heavy smoke coming from the front of the apartment building.
Everyone staying in the home that has three apartments inside were reportedly able to get out without any injuries.
The whole house has smoke damage and the front apartment has severe fire damage said Futrell adding the causes of the fire remains unknown.
