Cold weather did not deter too many ghouls and goblins in downtown Cadiz and Hopkinsville for annual trick-or-treating events Thursday afternoon.
Cadiz officials tell the News Edge thousands of children and parents made their way down the hill of Main Street to take advantage of free candy and other goodies from over 60 community partners.
Hopkinsville Parks and Recreation Marketing Coordinator Chris Jung says children and parents had a chance to pick up lots of great treats.
Jung adds the family dynamic behind events like trick-or-treating are what make them so special.
