Police: Two Dogs Found Dead, 19 Others Found In Poor Health

Two Hopkinsville women charged with second-degree cruelty to animals on West 7th Street Tuesday afternoon.

Hopkinsville Police say 36-year-old Tabitha Breedlove and 54-year-old Tracey White were charged after two dogs were found dead and decaying in crowded enclosures along with 19 other dogs that were in poor health.

Many of the dogs reportedly had open sores and rib bones showing, one dog had a broken lower jaw. The dogs allegedly had a large amount of fecal matter in their pens and appeared to have not eaten in weeks.
