Due to the forecast of low temperatures, the Pennyrile Electric planned outage at the Cadiz substation for Saturday night has been canceled. Officials say it will be rescheduled for a future date to be announced.
This is the second time the planned outage at the Cadiz substation has been postponed. Initially, Pennyrile Electric scheduled the outage to occur last Saturday, October 26, but it was postponed due to rain in the forecast and moved to this Saturday, November 2.
According to the National Weather Service in Paducah, the forecast low for Saturday night is 28 degrees.
