Pennyrile Electric crews are continuing work to restore power across Christian, Logan, and Todd counties Monday after a quick line of severe thunderstorms pushed through the region Saturday afternoon.
Pennyrile Spokesman Brent Gilkey tells the News Edge crews were sent out Monday morning to try and restore power to as many customers as possible.
Gilkey notes the storms on Saturday made it harder for crews to get power restored quickly.
Gilkey adds Pennyrile Electric is always ready to restore power after a storm rolls through.
