Grand Jury Indicts Suspect In Hopkinsville Murder

The Christian County Grand Jury Friday indicted a man in connection to the August fatal shooting of 25-year old Terrell Moore of Hopkinsville.

18-year old Robert Earl Torian III of Hopkinsville was indicted for murder. According to the arrest warrant, on August 11 Torian and Moore got into a verbal argument while they were passengers in a vehicle. Moore was reportedly sitting in the front passenger seat and Torian was sitting behind him in the backseat. Police said an eyewitness told officers Torian got out of the vehicle on McHenry Street, opened the front passenger door, and shot Moore in the face. Police reported the eyewitness positively identified Torian as the shooter. Torian was arrested in Clarksville and booked into the Christian County Jail.

The grand jury also indicted 19-year old Trevarius Daniels of Hopkinsville for first-degree unlawful imprisonment, first-degree strangulation, and sexual misconduct. The charges stem from August 3 when Hopkinsville Police reported officers went to a Donna Drive home check the welfare of a female juvenile and found her with blood on her shirt and marks on her neck. The juvenile reportedly told police Daniels choked her and would not let her leave with her friends after having intercourse. Daniels was arrested and lodged in the Christian County Jail.

And, 73-year old Roy Pluskis was indicted for failure to comply with sex offender registration and third-degree criminal trespassing. According to Hopkinsville Police, Pluskis was seen peeking into a window where a 3-year old was sleeping on August 13. During the investigation, police found that Pluskis had failed to change his address information with the sex offender registry.
