A Hopkinsville man who was hit by a vehicle in Cadiz last week is still hospitalized in Nashville.
Officials with Skyline Medical Center report 26-year old Deonte Byers remains in serious condition. Byers was hit by a vehicle while walking across Main Street near Minit Mart around 7:00 Tuesday night, October 1.
Cadiz Police Sgt. Tyler Thomas reports when emergency personnel arrived on-scene Byers was lying unconscious on the ground with an apparent head wound, a broken arm, and possible internal injuries. He said Byers was taken to Trigg County Hospital and later flown to Nashville.
