A Crofton woman was injured in a single-vehicle wreck in Madisonville Sunday afternoon.
Madisonville Police report the crash occurred shortly after 3:00 when 81-year old Sandy Vaughn of Crofton was driving an SUV eastbound on West Lake Street and turned to check on a passenger, which caused the vehicle to veer off the road and hit a utility pole.
A passenger in the vehicle, 31-year old Kristina Ward was transported by ambulance to Baptist Health Madisonville for treatment.
