Planters Bank Season Of Giving Campaign Underway

The Planters Bank’s Season of Giving annual campaign, which will benefit twelve local non-profit organizations, is now underway throughout Western Kentucky and Tennessee.

Now in its sixth year, officials say the Planters Bank Season of Giving is a tradition that grows each year. To date, Planters Bank along with community supporters of the Season of Giving have donated over $85,000 to local area non-profit organizations.

Planters Bank CEO Elizabeth McCoy says they measure the success of the campaign both in how well they are able to spread awareness for the non-profits’ missions as well as the dollar amount they are able to contribute to help further their cause. She adds they continue to see community support grow for these organizations that do so much in our communities.

During the Season of Giving, the bank works with local companies to private label items. 100% of the purchase price from the sale of the items in each Planters Bank location go to the Season of Giving non-profit agency supported by that branch. This year, Planters Bank has partnered with Barkley Hills Honey to offer Cinna-Spice Whipped Honey paired with Continental Mills’ Krusteaz Southern Cornbread for $10 for the seat. In addition, the bank will offer Shell-Bee’s Bourbon Smoked Garlic Sea Salt for $10 each. 100% of the proceeds ($10/each) from the purchase of these items in each Planters Bank location will be donated to the Season of Giving beneficiaries.

Throughout the Season of Giving, supporters of each non-proft organization may visit the Planters Bank Facebook & Twitter to help the organizations earn
even more donations. Planters Bank shares featured posts about each non-proft throughout the Season of Giving and will donate $1 for every like on the
featured post and $2 for every share. Giving one more donation opportunity in-branch, Planters Bank will donate $25 to the Season of Giving organization if
mentioned when opening a checking or savings account during the Season of Giving.

Season of Giving began as a fun way to bring attention to organizations Planters Bank supports, and has grown into a program the bank and its employees
look forward to each year. Visit the Planters Bank Facebook and Twitter to help local non-proft organizations earn donations, and visit Planters Bank to help support the groups through the in-branch opportunities. Find more information by clicking here.
