The Trigg County Schools Superintendent Search Committee is continuing their work to narrow down the list of applicants to help find the next leader for the district.
Interim Superintendent Tim McGinnis tells the News Edge the committee will meet Tuesday afternoon to continue the research into to every application that was turned in.
McGinnis notes none of the thirteen candidates were from the Trigg County School District.
The school board will make the final decision on who will be hired as the Superintendent. The search comes after Travis Hamby resigned from the position to become the leader of the Allen County School District.
McGinnis accepted the Interim position in June and is contracted through the end of the year.
