The Trigg County Country Ham Festival will be here before you know it and anyone interested in entering the annual contests needs to get their items ready.
Extension Office agent Cecilia Hostilo says they will be accepting entries on Thursday, October 10 from 9:00 AM until noon at the Cadiz Baptist Church Annex.
She encourages people to enter the pork recipe contest.
Hostilo notes they will be accepting entries for the country ham biscuit contest on Saturday morning, October 12.
The ham show contest will begin at 9:00 Saturday morning, with judging to take place at 10:00 and winners will be announced at noon. The festival favorite 4-H Ham Auction will take place Saturday afternoon at 3:00 at the Renaissance Stage.
