A woman died at the hospital after a crash on Hopkinsville-Mount Zoar Road Friday afternoon.
Christian County Sheriff’s Deputies say a woman was traveling westbound at the 7000 block when her SUV ran off the road hitting two trees.
The driver was trapped in the SUV and had to be helped by Christian County Rescue.
A helicopter was called to take the woman to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville where she later died.
A passenger in the SUV was taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center.
The full extent of his injuries remains unknown.
Deputies have not released the names of anyone involved in the crash.
