The Christian County Road Department reports they will be closing a portion of a road near Crofton beginning next Thursday, September 19.
Officials indicate Johnson Mill Road will be closed near the intersection with Highway 800. The roadway will be closed for up to four weeks as crews from Westate Construction install a new box culvert.
Motorists can detour via Woodburn Road, Dogwood Kelly Road, Cavanaugh Lane, or Crofton Macedonia Road.
