A wreck on Pennyrile Parkway at the Eagle Way exit sent a Hopkinsville man and a Cadiz woman to the hospital Monday night.
Christian County Sheriff’s Deputy Brandon Myers said 63-year-old Rebecca Francis was exiting Pennyrile Parkway southbound onto Eagle Way when a truck stopped in front of her and backed up.
Francis turned on her flashers and stopped. 18-year-old Tanner Daugherty was reportedly exiting behind Francis and hit the back of her car than a concrete barrier.
Daugherty was taken to Jennie Stuart Medical Center by ambulance for injuries. Francis went by private vehicle to a hospital for neck and back pain.
