A Hopkinsville man was charged after he reportedly slapped and punched a woman on North Main Street Monday night.
Hopkinsville Police say 44-year-old Toyua Waddell punched, slapped and pushed 37-year-old Misty Wilson of Hopkinsville during an argument.
Police say Waddell at one point tried to strangle her with his hand. He is charged with fourth-degree assault and first-degree strangulation.
