Police have released more details about a wreck at the intersection of Canton Street and North Iris Street that sent two people to the hospital Tuesday night.
Hopkinsville Police Officer Michael Felts said an eastbound SUV driven by 32-year-old Willie Brown of Hopkinsville was on Canton Street stopped for traffic and was hit by a car behind him driven by 95-year-old Elbert Saltzgiver of Hopkinsville.
A third vehicle driven by 32-year-old Oscar Menjivar of Hopkinsville who was behind Saltzgiver then struck the back of his car.
Two of Brown’s passengers 26-year-old Amber Brown and 22-year-old Casey Hermen both of Hopkinsville were taken to Jennie Stuart Medical Center by ambulance to be checked out.
