Police have released the name of a woman and child injured in a wreck at the intersection of Country Club Lane and Lafayette Road Tuesday morning.
Hopkinsville Police Officer Sara Morris said a car driven by 27-year-old Lourdes Gonzales of Hopkinsville was crossing Lafayette Road on Country Club Lane and failed to stop for a red light.
Gonzales hit a northbound car on Lafayette Road driven by 39-year-old Julie Butler of Clarksville.
Gonzales and her child 8-mouth-old Eleanor Alonso were taken to Jennie Stuart Medical Center by ambulance for non-life-threatening injuries.
